HAND-CRAFTED
HAND-PAINTED
A thoughtful process
Each tile begins as a piece of hand-rolled clay, carefully shaped and left to dry slowly before its first firing. Once fired, every piece is individually hand-painted with my designs.
The tiles are then glazed and fired again, allowing the clay and glaze to develop their final character in the kiln. Because clay responds naturally to heat, subtle variations in tone, texture, and form emerge during this process — a quality that makes each tile unique.
This slow and thoughtful method means no two tiles are ever exactly the same. Rather than being mass-produced, each tile is given the time it needs to develop its own character. Once complete, the pieces are carefully finished, packed, and prepared to become part of a home that values craftsmanship, warmth, and thoughtful design.Inspired by traditional Delft tiles, each design is painted freehand and thoughtfully arranged to create rhythm, balance, and a larger story across the surface. We take on a limited number of orders each month so every tile receives the time and care it deserves — never rushed or mass-produced. Every piece is intended to bring timeless character and quiet artistry into everyday spaces.Crafted slowly, in small batches:
Designed with intention:
Each tile is painted and finished by hand, meaning subtle variations are part of the character of the collection. Slight differences in size (approximately 1–3mm) and an uneven surface mean the tiles will not all sit perfectly flat — details we embrace as part of their handmade charm. These natural imperfections bring warmth, texture, and individuality that cannot be replicated by mass production.Made by hand, perfectly imperfect:

The Nature of Handmade Tiles:
Each tile is individually formed, glazed and fired by hand. Subtle variations in colour, brushwork, surface texture, squareness and flatness are an inherent part of handmade ceramics and contribute to the character and authenticity of the finished installation.
No two tiles will ever be completely identical. These natural variations should be expected and celebrated as part of the craft.
Photographs, drawings and samples are intended as a guide only. Slight variations between batches may occur due to the handmade process and kiln firing.
Installation:
Our tiles are designed to be installed by an experienced tiler familiar with handmade ceramics.
Due to the natural variation in handmade tiles, installation may require slightly wider grout joints and small adjustments during laying. We strongly recommend dry-laying tiles prior to installation to appreciate the natural variation and ensure a balanced layout.
All tiles must be inspected prior to installation. Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product, and claims cannot be made once tiles have been installed.
Ordering:
Clients are responsible for confirming the quantities required for their project. We recommend ordering an additional 10–15% to allow for cutting, installation waste and the natural breakage that can occur during handling.
As each batch is handmade, exact colour or tonal matching between separate orders cannot be guaranteed.
Custom or made-to-order tiles cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
Production:
Every tile is made slowly and intentionally. Production timelines may vary depending on drying times, kiln schedules and studio capacity. Estimated lead times are provided as a guide and may occasionally shift as part of the handmade process.
Shipping:
Tiles are carefully packed using protective materials and prepared for international transit. Orders are shipped via third-party freight carriers.
While every precaution is taken to package tiles safely, ceramic materials can occasionally sustain minor breakage during transport. Industry standards allow for approximately 2–5% breakage, which can typically be incorporated into cuts during installation.
Shipping costs, duties and import taxes (where applicable) are the responsibility of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery & Inspection:
All shipments should be inspected within 48 hours of delivery.
If damage has occurred during transit, please photograph the packaging and affected tiles and notify us in writing within 48 hours so that we may assist with a freight claim.
Returns:
Due to the bespoke and handmade nature of our work:
Custom and made-to-order tiles are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Standard items may only be returned with prior written approval.
Returned tiles must be unused, in original packaging and received within 30 days of delivery.
Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the purchaser.
A restocking fee may apply.
Natural variation in colour, tone, brushwork, size or finish inherent to handmade tiles is not considered a defect.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the tiles supplied. We are not responsible for installation costs, removal costs, project delays, or consequential damages.
